I get a lot of questions about upcoming tours, so I created this page to share my rough plans for future trips! Please note, these are only the rough timeframes that I’m looking at – and they are all very much subject to change. Nothing is set in stone until the tour is finalized and available for registration.
What’s the best way to get early access to register for tours? Based on the last couple of years, my tours tend to sell out quickly, for which I’m very grateful, but I understand it can cause some frustration for those who hoped to make the trip but missed out. I will ALWAYS give early access to channel supporters to register before the tours are announced publicly, normally a period of 10 days to 2 weeks. The best way to get access to early registration is to support UnchartedX via Patreon, Locals, SubscribeStar, or YouTube Channel Memberships. I treat all these content creator supporter platforms the same and share all supporter-only benefits and content across them.
I also maintain a ‘supporter’ email list for those who support the channel in amounts of $50 or more in single contributions via PayPal, Venmo, or direct support via my PO Box (note you need to include your email address if you wish to be added to this email list). I only send a couple of update emails a year, and also give this list early access to register for tours.
Once a tour is sold out – I generally maintain a wait list for people interested in the trip. That wait list gets ‘first come, first served’ offers to places that open up. I will also generally email the waitlist with early access to register for upcoming tours a day or two before I make the tours public. If you want guaranteed early access for tours, becoming a channel supporter is the best way!

6 Feb 2026 update:
In about a month the 2026 UnchartedX Egypt Tour will kick off, and I’ll be in Egypt for most of March. Due to demand, I am likely going to put on another Egypt tour in October, 2026. Then December will be the UnchartedX ‘Primordial’ tour, and likely the annual 2027 UX Tour will happen in Feb/March.
7/22/2025 update:
I typically run an annual Egypt tour in Feb/March. It’s not a rule, but I’ve run them most years since 2020. We did one in 2025, and the one for 2026 is currently on sale (see menu above).
I also, typically, join Yousef Awyan on his annual ‘Primordial Egypt’ tour that generally runs in December. 2025’s Primordial tour is also on sale (see menu above).
The difference? My tour is generally a little longer, has more special permissions, features an optional extension, and is consequently more $ than the Primordial.
South America: in 2025 I am doing my first Peru/Bolivia tour. It’s sold out, but I am offering spots as they become available on a waitlist (see menu above for Peru Tour).
Other tours:
I’ve run a couple of tours in Turkey over the last 5 years. It’s likely I will run one again in the next few years.
I have rough plans to put together diving oriented trips for interested people in South East Asia, as well as Japan. Also, I would like to get to Greece, Malta and India in the next few years, and hopefully be able to bring interested people with me! Other destinations in the Middle East (like Lebanon, Jordan etc) are also on the list but those are all dependent on the situation in those areas.
The best way to get early access to sign up to tours is to be a channel member, Patreon member, or a member on SubscribeStar or Locals. I always give supporters early access to register for tours before making them ‘public.’ The Peru tour sold out in 15 hours, and only from Patrons. Anyone who supports me in $50 or more via PayPal, Venmo, or mail check will be added my email list, and I give those supporters exactly the same early access to register.
