I’m aware of the Longyu caves, I haven’t seen them myself but from what I have seen they’re certainly interesting. You’re right I’m not in this for the $, if that was my motivation I would never have left my career in IT.
Hello – I am following your study of ancient vases as well as other researchers looking into traces of ancient high technology. I would like to offer help: I have an electron microscope with EDS (elemental composition analysis) capability and I would like to look at samples to identify machining tool marks as well as composition of the metal bits of the tool embedded in the samples. This could deliver a conclusive proof of machining and glean insight on what alloys were used to cut the stone and how. Is it possible to obtain such samples for analysis?

I’d like to know what you think about the fire brick or angle iron that are in the grand gallery walls and the entrance to the anti-chamber. I’ve never heard of anyone speak on them. Is it modern restoration?
