After much negotiation, finally got out to Tell el-Roba in Egypt - ancient Mendes. Amazing site, 250+ acres, much more here than I expected. Obviously the naos was the main attraction, but we found hard stone vase fragments (with core drill markings) in the midden, along with pre-pottery neolithic A flint workings, unifacials, identical to what you find at karahan tepe etc.. Pearl clutchers, activate. Also, circular saw witness marks in buried basalt slabs, just like at Giza and Abu Sir. Video to come, but currently busy in Egypt!

Join me as we take a deep dive into an incredible ancient logistic achievement - quarrying and moving the huge granite blocks of Ollantaytambo around 10 kilometers across the Andes Mountains in the Sacred Valley of Peru!

Known as the 'Tired Stones,' these massive blocks can be found in the high, steep slopes of the quarry, and all along the route to the amazing megalithic 'sun temple' of Ollantaytambo. Seemingly abandoned along the route, how these were moved in this unrelenting, high altitude, steep terrain, and why they're there, is a huge mystery.

Over the last year I've been investigating these stones, and trying to decipher the story they're telling us about the catastrophic history of human civilization….

The 'traveller from an antique land' refers to Greek historian Diodorus Siculus, who wrote in his Bibliotheca historica, describing a massive Egyptian statue: "King of Kings Ozymandias am I. If any want to know how great I am and where I lie, let him outdo me in my work."

We have been marveling at these statues for thousands of years.

From classical antiquity comes legends and stories of an Ancient Egyptian site so large and complex that it is said to exceed all the works of the ancient world, including the majestic pyramids of Egypt! Long since thought lost, this place has, in modern times, been confirmed to exist, with numerous scans using a variety of modern technology, including the new space-based deep earth scan methods.

Despite the efforts of numerous groups to discover more, the history of work done at this place has been suppressed, yet it could yet represent the greatest discovery in our modern age, it's quite a story - and one I've been wanting to tell (and update from my older video) for several years.

TLDR version: I've been wanting to update merch for a long time. I was with teespring (now just 'spring' apparently) but damn, I ordered stuff in early Jan 2025 to take to Egypt in March. I'm STILL waiting for my order, 7+ months later. And this isn't the first time they taken months and months. They also jack up their prices all the time, and the UI (for creators) is hard to use. Not recommended, and my apologies to anyone who had to wait forever for my merch from them - but I have to order it the same way and I'm still waiting on stuff I paid for literally more than half a year ago. Dashery (teepublic) assure me they don't have those issues!
