Evidence exists for a number of truly colossal statues that existed during the Ancient Egyptian Civilization. Carved from single solid pieces of granite, or conglomerate quartzite, several of these behemoths weighed in at 1000 tons and more. Some were transported more than 1000km from their original quarries, and the remaining fragments display amazingly fine details and features. A true logistical and technological challenge.

Could these statues, as well as smaller examples that display other aspects of lost ancient technology, have been inherited by the Dynastic Egyptian Civilization? Might they have formed the basis for the iconic artwork, style and culture of the civilization that we are all familiar with today? Why do we see a tale of two industries, primitive and advanced, in so many categories of Ancient Egyptian artifacts?

Randall Carlson joins me for his 3rd appearance on the UnchartedX Podcast!

We get into a discussion on the academic history of geology, the science behind the younger dryas, and the mechanics of the megafloods of the channeled scablands in the pacific northwest, the tumultuous climate and rise in sea levels during that period and the effects it would have had on any people in affected regions.

Since my last video on Tiwanaku and Puma Punku, I’ve been looking forward to an opportunity to share some of my findings with Randall, and to quiz him about the possible connections between Arthur Posnansky’s research on the geological history of that region and the younger dryas period, which we get into.

Then Randall takes us through an utterly fascinating discussion of the prevalence of precessional numerology in history, and how it all connects between astronomical cycles, the measures of time and space, and the possibility of a common source that has driven this data down through time, cultures, religions and legends – I did my best to keep up with him and there was definitely some ‘mind blown’ moments in there for me.

Is human history cyclical rather than linear?

Unique amongst ancient megalithic sites, the twin locations of Tiahuanaco and Puma Punku, located high on the Altiplano of Bolivia, represent an enduring mystery for the history of human civilizations. The true age of these ruins has always been a controversial topic, and the man responsible for 50 years of primary excavation and research here, Professor Arthur Posnansky, used a multi-disciplinary approach to  conclude that  they originated more than 10,000 years ago. Unsurprisingly, this date is dismissed by mainstream archaeology -but just how valid is this dismissal? And what is the evidence behind the claims?   

Years in the making, this video investigates the claims behind the age of these enigmatic locations – and to understand if Tiahuanaco was, as Posnansky termed it, the Cradle of American Man.

With the November UnchartedX tour sold out months ago (and a waitlist of interested people), Yousef invited me to come on his October Egypt tour, an offer than I gladly accepted! This will give anyone who is keen to visit Egypt this year with us a chance to do so. Prices in Egypt are going up due to inflation, so the best time to go on a bucket list adventure like this falls into the ‘as soon as possible’ category.

This trip is similar to the one I have planned for November, but not exactly the same. It includes visits to many of the same sites, and (my favorite part) a 4 night Nile Cruise. We’re using a different hotel in Cairo, and there are less special permissions, which is reflected in the lower price for this October tour. We will end the trip with a Private Visit into the Great Pyramid, with all the chambers open for a full exploration, something not to be missed.

Please note that the new Grand Museum is not expected to be open until November – but we will visit the amazing Cairo Museum, one of the highlights of any visit to Egypt and long established as one of the best museums in the world.

A video that I’ve been meaning to release for several years now – this is the full length sit down interview discussing the many mysteries of the Ancient Egyptian civilization with experts Yousef Awyan and Mohammed Ibrahim.

We filmed this in Egypt, in Yousef’s family store, in 2016. Yousef and Mohammed are experts in the ancient Egpytian civilization, their language, stonework, architecture and the history of discoveries made in this remarkable place. It was a fascinating discussion that covered a lot of ground, and I’ve broken up the interview into chapters that cover different topics.
