Set to footage from Hugh as well as my own, I very much enjoyed the chance to meet and talk with Hugh, and we’ll get together again on future swapcasts, I hope you enjoy the podcast!

  1. Ben,
I’ve been enjoying all your explorations immensely!

I also keep up with Brothers of the Serpent and I’ve been watching your swap cast with them. Most recently, episode 188 about Ollantaytambo has me all worked up.
    As I watch you scan around and show the different eras of construction, I keep being drawn to the theory that I lay out below….I wrote to the Snake Bros about this and I am copying some of that email to share here with you;

“I want to suggest something that may sound a bit nuts referring to the “living rock” cut outs that we see all over Peru and other places around the world.

I think we are looking at “negatives”.

Imagine a time in the extreme distant past and a civilization that had machinery similar yet more advanced than we have today. Now imagine that civilization being inundated utterly and completely by a massive tidal wave/mud slide/impact ejecta…whatever devastating calamity you can imagine BURYING the civilization. Wouldn’t mud that covers the technological equipment as we would think of cars or cranes or buildings, solidify against that equipment and over the millennia turn to rock? Were that to happen, the equipment, car or crane or whatever would rot away leaving the imprint in the rock similar to how we get a fossil imprint?

This guy’s video is a basic idea of what I’m talking about…I see it a lot more prevalent than even he believes.
This also ties in to what I see as the true smoking gun proving high technology in the ancient past…The “CART RUTS” of Malta and many other places around the planet.
I don’t understand why the “cart ruts” are not pointed out more often as what they are…Prints of ancient technology moving through the mud that then solidifies no different than a dinosaur foot print.”

To add to what I shared with the Snake Bros…When looking at these “living rock imprints” (I like to call them) It really looks like mud pushed up against something that no longer exists. Notice how the surface always looks…not polished, but smooth as if taking on the surface qualities of what it was up against. Notice how sometimes there are gaps and cracks that look just as old but may not have been perfectly filled in against whatever was there.
I know this all sounds nuts because this idea being true would mean that these imprints are millions upon millions of years old to have turned to stone as we see today….but I always keep in mind how the Vedic tradition/history calls for many ages going back far enough to make this idea a valid possibility.
I would love to know what you think about this idea. The Snake Bros read part of this on air and they talked about it for a few minutes but I am not sure they are buying…;-)…It does take a leap of imagination to picture the missing tech that the rock solidified around and against but for me, this is a better explanation than to ask someone to cut out and behind some of these “cut outs”.
Thanks again for what you do and I promise to buy some UnchartedX shwag when I can to support you.

    Yours,

    Peter Gattuso

    1. Great comment, thanks Peter! There is definitely something odd going on with the hanan pacha and ‘cart ruts.’ It’s some sort of stonework process that we don’t fully understand. I don’t know about the ‘millions of years’ old so much as I think it’s a process we have lost… But all speculation, I don’t like to rule anything out – it may not have been our work – after all we’re just the last humans left.

      Ben

  2. All,
I apologize for putting that comment to Ben in this Hugh Newman comment section…I was not paying attention and I thought I was just contacting Ben.

  3. I really enjoy the work of Hugh and the work Ben does, so cool to have you guys talking about stuff👍👍

So great to see all the Italy stuff Hugh has found.

Is anyone else intrigued by the quantity of underground spaces that have been found around the world?? Bloody great idea to help survive the younger dryas I have thought to myself. Did they live on mushrooms maybe🤔 maybe built as annual retreats during the Taurid meteor showers for 1000 years or so?
