An investigation into Giza’s massive and megalithic Middle Pyramid complex – is it possible that this was the FIRST pyramid built on the plateau, before the Great Pyramid? We dive into the history, details, and evidence for advanced ancient technology in these engimatic structures, including the Pyramid itself, the Mortuary and Valley Temple, the Causeway, and of course the Great Sphinx. We pose the question: did King Khafre really build all this – or was some of it inherited from earlier times?
Part 1 of a 2 part series, Part 2 coming soon!

Thanks Keith!
I saw your guide for Khafre, it’s excellent work. I did mean to mention it but in the rush of getting the video wrapped up it slipped past me – I will definitely let my audience know about your work in the part 2 that I have planned – in that one I’m covering the internals and will reference your work directly I expect.
Cheers!
Ben
Hi Ben,
Beautiful and stunning images, as ever!
The last part of your video pertaining to the so-called “Khufu cartouche” particularly drew my attention.
I have always been very intrigued by this subject and I undertook some extensive researches about it. I even managed to get in touch with one of the 2 German guys who had falsely been accused of having damaged the cartouche and robbed some artefacts inside the Great Pyramid.
The gentleman politely answered my mail but did not elaborate further on the subject: the whole issue is still quite explosive. In 2013, both explorers had actually been sentenced to a 5 year-jail term by a Cairo court and were even subject to a prosecution by the German justice. The latter was acting at the request of its Egyptian counterpart and above all, under diplomatic pressure from Egypt; however, the charge was completely dropped a few months later and they were cleared entirely.
The German archeologist then recommended to me the book – titled the “Cheops Project” – he and his colleague have written in 2015 about the genesis and developments of their endeavor, and which contains many details about the concerned expedition (it is only available in German though…).
Their open and detailed presentation proves beyond any doubt that they did not undertake anything wrong and that, in no way, they should be considered as rogue archeologists or thieves. Both are recommendable, educated and well-known persons who had got all the required authorizations required to explore the inner chambers, corridors and various spaces inside the Great Pyramid. Actually, the whole matter was totally framed up in order to cover up the wrongdoings of the real culprits; those people who have collected painting samples from the aforesaid cartouche sometimes between 2003 and 2006 (guess who may probably hide behind that …🤠).
It is only thanks to the personal intervention and unfailing support of Robert Bauval, who provided the badly needed pieces of evidence to “unveil the truth”, that both managed to get out of this bind.
I also found on a German TV channel one very interesting interview featuring both gentlemen, during which they explain in a very clear, transparent and concrete manner the whys and wherefores of the complete story.
The main conclusion that can be drawn from this narrative is that few samples of the “Khufu cartouche” have indeed been taken by somebody a few years ago and may probably have been analyzed.
However, they completely disappeared from the screen and remain unaccounted for since that time. Moreover, the results of the analyses, if any, were carefully hidden up : once more, one can easily guess by whom and for what reason…
I would be pleased to summarize the main elements of this interview in English language for you, in case you need.
Please let me know to which address I can e-mail it to you.
Best regards,
Pierre
Pierre,
thanks so much for the information – and yes I would love to read a summary of the German work. Feel free to email me at info@unchartedx.com. I have seen a couple of interviews with them (I think Dominic is his name?) and his english seems much improved. Thanks for this post and for the data – I’m very interested in this story.
Cheers
Ben
Hi Ben,
Thanks for your kind reply.
I will be pleased to send you the summary before the end of the week !
The first name of this guy is Dominique indeed.
I also purchased their book (available in German language only…) and will as well send you a synthesis of the most interesting and relevant passages as soon as I have completed the reading.
Very interesting pieces of information are contained in it, relating both to te “Khufu cartouche” and to the traces of iron on the granite ceiling slabs of the so-called King’s Chamber inside the GP.
You will see…🙂
Cheers and above all, I wish you a lot of courage to withstand the boiling Northwest temperatures !
